In addition to our other conservation efforts, the NCWHF is proud to be a qualified conservation easement holder. We hold nearly thirty easements scattered throughout the state; together these encompass more than 1,500 acres of land. This land is primarily located along streams and wetland, providing permanent protection for the high quality wildlife habitat that we know is so important.
